Graphic Design - Diploma

This qualification provides graduates with the ability to create and deliver design solutions across a range of media. With an emphasis on project based learning where trainers act as teacher and client, students work in a studio environment to produce graphic artworks from initial conception, through to finished art and realisation of final product.
Having the opportunity to work on realistic commercial briefs, students can pursue a diverse range of employment opportunities. Graduates leave with strong skills in both creative and technical areas. Many have succeeded in gaining employment in the areas of advertising and publishing.
Work Placement
As a part of the course, students are required to complete 200 hours of work experience in the Graphic Design industry. Each student will be assisted in the work placement. This vital experience enhances skills and optimises employability. Please refer to the Student Handbook on this website for further details.
