Graphic Design - Advanced Diploma

This course produces graduates who can think creatively and deliver design solutions across a range of media. Graduates use conventional media and computing technology to assemble original artwork, with a thorough understanding of the necessary graphic reproduction techniques.
This qualification is designed to reflect the role of personnel working in the graphics industry in specialised design and production roles such as managing major projects, coordinating the production of multimedia products, business management and managing the design process.
Building on the students skills developed in the Diploma, the student is encouraged to develop conceputal and analytical skills to advance their personal design and management practice.
Work Placement
As a part of the course, students are required to complete 200 hours of work experience in the Graphic Design industry. Each student will be assisted in the work placement. This vital experience enhances skills and optimises employability. Please refer to the Student Handbook on this website for further details.
Who can apply?
- Students who have successfully completed Year 12 or equivalent.
